F.E.A.R. — False Evidence Appearing Real

Fear doesn’t just haunt us—it shapes us. It influences how we move, how we speak, and how we create. F.E.A.R. is an exhibition about the quiet, persistent anxieties we all carry: the fear of losing relevance, of illness and physical vulnerability, of being too much or not enough—the fear of making work that fails to connect, or of never being seen.

This group show addresses the internal and external forces that hold us back: fear of rejection, of failure, of being overlooked by a world that values what it can easily define. Here, artists examine these fears directly, transforming them into something tangible.

Featuring works by Isabella Theys, Léonie Stolberg, Aurel Quiros Miramontes, Nathan French, and Yann Laissy, the exhibition spans sculpture, painting, photography, and installation. From the weight of self-doubt to the determination to create something meaningful, F.E.A.R. reveals the moments when uncertainty becomes action. These works are acts of release—personal, direct, and unafraid to confront what unsettles us.

In a culture that rewards control and certainty, this exhibition invites openness. It accepts imperfection. It makes space for what is often left unsaid. And within that space, something enduring takes root.

Fear becomes form. Restraint becomes expression. Vulnerability becomes strength.
